I’m getting a new camper and the matteress in it is pretty cheap.I’ve been looking on e-bay and can’t decide on a mattteress pad..can anyone give me some pros and or cons to help me decide? Thank you

I recieved my plush memory foam mattress over the weekend. Its a 10 inch mattress with 3 inches of foam. In the showroom it was extremely comfortable. Its like sleeping on a hardwood floor. I thought I recieved the wrong one. When I called the store they told me to put a heating pad on it and to also jump on it! It was expensive. Its this typical for these types of mattresses?

After I had it all set up w/the cotton matress cover, and sheets and comforter, I happened across the instructions that fell out of the box. It said to let the pad lay out on the floor for two days before using so it can air out , and get puffy. This wasnt a good option for me, b/c I wanted to suprise my husband with the pad, and bedtime was only about 3 hours away. So its been a week, and we just love it, so Im sure its fine, but thought I would ask anyway.

I went to Bed Bath and Beyond looking for memory foam pads and pillows for someone with back problems, but they were really expensive and I was wondering if there is a better place to look for this. I live in the average suburbs and I have all the typical stores and mall. I was thinking – department stores or a mattress store?
