How can I clean stains on a memory foam mattress?

my chihuahuas left some urine stains on my memory foam mattress. The mattress has a some kind of thin covering on it. Anyways i cleaned the dirty areas with oxy interior and well now it looks weird, the areas look lighter than the actual mattress color. I dont know but ive heard some people use urine gone and nature’s miracle with success. Any other recommendations?

I recommend Folex.
I use it on my white sofa, and it works like a dream. I have also used it to get long dried in shoe polish out of my wool carpet, and red wine off my lounge chairs.
All you do is spray it on, and blot it off with an absorbent towel. (use an old towel, because it will become stained with whatever you removed from your mattress.)
Plus it’s a non toxic product, it has minimal fumes, and you would have no worries sleeping on it.
Because it’s lighter – you may have bleached it. I hope that’s not the case. Maybe the whiteness is residue. Because the mattress is thick, I think everything you spray on there might just sink in and not really get any cleaning done. I think a steam cleaner would be a good option to pull the residue of the cleaner out, as well as any urine your initial cleaning didn’t get. If you don’t own a steam cleaner, you can rent one for around $40 at Albertsons or lots of other places.
