Just curious if anyone has tried something like the 4 inch foam pad over buying the whole memory foam mattress. I was wondering if it offers a comparable experience cause I really can’t afford a whole memory foam bed right now.

We bought a memory foam mattress and box springs. The box springs kept breaking, the snap just advice. It has been replaced 5 times and improved box spring so I can not blame the MFG! I asked if we need a special kind of mattress, ours is just a metal crossbar, and was told it would be good. Please help! This is embarrassing!
