@BMGBOX That’s great, glad you got something that works for you. There’s nothing quite like sleeping at night to change your whole outlook on life, lol.
Thanks for the reply. I returned the 4″ so called, and got a real 3″ memory foam “Made in Canada” also by Comfort Clinic – it’s great! I never want to get up. It was only $70 for queen size…

@BMGBOX I’m trying to get a video made showing how many of the toppers are saying they’re 4″ but in reality only 1″ to 2″ is memory foam and the rest is just normal foam. You can follow the link on the video to see one choice for American foam. Thanks for the nice comment.
@kledder2 Yes, the memory foam is soft. It’s ideal for people who think their mattress is too hard. Most people say it isn’t any hotter than their other mattress but I’ve had a couple say it sleeps hot, so it’s just a matter of different people having different opinions.
i just bought this today, going to try it out tonight. i hope it works well.
Does it help if you have want to sleep on a softer surface? I got a 400 euro matress which is quite hard and I would like it to be more soft. And does it feel warmer if you sleep on this?
Hi Chuck: Great video and thanks for doing this. Just bought a 4″ memory foam topper from Zellers from Comfort Clinic. Well, it’s 2″ grey color memory and 2″ regular foam. Not what I expected! The grey memory foam seems delicate. The mattress I’m using is an ObisForme, with 3″ memory and 5″ hi-density. It’s great, but I’d like more give. Where can I get American foam?

I’m trying to check where their foam comes from so if anyone has information, let me know. I think from the smell that it had, this might be foreign made foam which means that the odor associated with it could mean it contains unhealthy chemicals or toxins.
Bought this same 3″ topper at Costco for $119 wth a $30 off coupon. Comes with 10 yr warranty and 18″ bedskirt that fits/looks nice. So far totally worth it. Unpacking was easy. Odor was all but gone in 3 days. Have not woken up hot or with my arm asleep. I did have Asthma one night, but that happened on occassion b4 the topper. My only complaint is that I have turned the alarm off and fallen back into rem sleep 3x’s in 2 wks. oops.
Yes, a 3 ” memory foam topper would work well for you at that weight. 4 lb. density would be best.
So, it’s worth getting? I’m 15 and somewhat skinny and was wondering if 3 inches is good and still comfortable.
I just bought this matress topper and its weird yours didnt spring up like min it took a matter of 30 seconds for it to be full size the smell went away about 2-3 days after and it is so comfy
@gunzt3rkenfu92 i dont think there poisonous, otherwise they would not have so successful world wide some research will have goin into it first
@memoryfoamguide wicked, yhh i got myself one now, its great, thanks for all your replies, chrissy
@gunzt3rkenfu92 Hi, gunz, there is little or no odor with quality American foams. The odors are very pungent on foreign made foams and yes, those foreign foams can contain toxic chemicals such as cfc’s, pdbe’s, and formaldehyde. Stick with quality American Foam and you’ll be happy.
Has any one ever noticed that smell on memory foam? Apparently the chemicals they use are poisonous, can somoneone confirm this? Would be great.
I stumbled upon this video. And i bought this sort of 2″ topper from ebay. I simply love it now. The difference is phenomenol
thanks
Sorry it took so long, it’s 3″ thick.
thats great, thanks!
Chrissy, I hate to admit but it’s been a year and I forgot the thickness. I’m almost positive it was 3″. I gave it to some friends and I’ll see if I can have them measure it for us. ok?
how thick is this?
Thanks for replying. Memory Foam. I think Memory Foam is a good invention. I did buy that Memory Foam that you got there. We like it.
p.s. I love Costco.
Another thing I noticed when in Wal-Mart was that some were called 3 inch memory foam toppers that only had 1 1/2″ of memory foam and then just polyfoam for the other 1 1/2″ so you have to be very careful about the labeling and read it all.
That’s so weird, I had went to Wal-Mart and filmed a short video on this very subject. I noticed that the box called them by king, queen, etc but upon examination of the sizes listed some were 8 inches shorter and 8 inches narrower than a standard king or queen.
I was going to make a video and post it here but my wife’s computer blew up and I am still waiting to get it replaced.
Thanks for the “heads up.”
I don’t think I’d try a foam topper, but I’ve been thinking of buying a full-on memory foam mattress lately. Our bed is already too soft for me, my body sinks into it too much and it puts uneven pressure on my lower back resulting in pain in the morning. Any ideas how to make my mattress more firm for me and not for my fiancee? It’s an extra-thick queen mattress, not sure if a plywood sheet would help much.
