I want to cut a King mattress into half to create two twin XL mattresses….it’s more economical to do it that way.
Is it possible to cut the memory foam mattress into half?

If the mattress is just foam, use an electric knife, the kind that you carve the Thanksgiving turkey with. If this mattress has a bound edge, Not recommended.
yep. it is a very tight fiber.
Don’t do it to a new mattress! While the mattress does seem to be the same from one edge to the other, there are also two layers of cover that could not magically become two separate covers.
So you’d save a few $, but void your warranty immediately, and need to find a way to wrap it up nicely.
Is this the whole mattress, like a tempurpedic, or just one of the toppers that is like 4 inches thick. The topper you could cut, the real mattress I wouldn’t do.
yes , just use scissors , mine turned out fine
